# MathDa > MathDa makes free browser maths tools for students and teachers. Its main product is CalcES, an > online scientific calculator whose keypads are modelled on the Casio scientific calculators > students already own (ES PLUS, ClassWiz EX and ClassWiz CW families), with a graphing > calculator, a step-by-step solver (Tales Math Solver), task guides and a learning blog. ## Key facts - CalcES is free and runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. Nothing to install and no account needed to calculate or to graph. - Keypads modelled on Casio handhelds: ES PLUS (e.g. fx-991ES PLUS, fx-570ES PLUS, fx-82ES PLUS), ClassWiz EX (fx-991EX, fx-570EX), ClassWiz CW (fx-991CW, fx-570CW) and regional models such as fx-580VN X. Visitors choose their model; the keys, SHIFT/ALPHA or menu layers and modes follow it. - CalcES is an independent product of MathDa. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or certified by Casio; Casio and model names are trademarks of their owners. It is for study and practice — not for use in an exam room. - Beyond the handheld: a larger screen, the result shown live while typing, exact and decimal forms (S⇔D on ES PLUS/EX keypads, FORMAT on CW), the last 100 calculations in history, photo or handwriting input of an expression, and sending a result to the graphing calculator. - Calculation: fractions, roots and powers in textbook display; trigonometric, inverse and hyperbolic functions in degrees, radians or gradians, with degrees-minutes-seconds; logarithms in any base; scientific and engineering notation; 10 letter variables plus Ans and PreAns; CALC to re-evaluate a formula with new values. - Equations: polynomial equations and inequalities of degree 2–5 (real and complex roots), linear systems with 2–6 unknowns, SOLVE for one unknown. - Calculus: derivative at a point, definite integral, limits, Σ sums and Π products. - Matrices up to 7×7, 2-D and 3-D vectors, complex numbers. - Statistics with up to 999 data rows and 7 regression models; binomial, normal and Poisson distributions; a function table for f(x) and g(x); a spreadsheet (columns A–Z, 999 rows); base-N for signed 32-bit integers; 40 scientific constants and 40 unit conversions; an interactive periodic table of 118 elements. - Graphing calculator: functions, equations and inequality regions, parametric and polar curves, sliders, points of interest (roots, extrema, intersections), tables, PNG and CSV export. - Tales Math Solver shows step-by-step solutions for supported problems, in Vietnamese, German, Malay, Italian or English (other languages receive English steps). A few solves are free without an account; then it asks the visitor to sign in. ## Products - [CalcES scientific calculator](https://mathda.com/calculator/): the online calculator, in English; other language versions are linked from each page (hreflang) and listed in the sitemap below. - [Graphing calculator](https://mathda.com/calculator/graphing-calculator): plot functions, inequalities, parametric and polar curves. - [Tales Math Solver](https://mathda.com/calculator/math-solver): step-by-step solutions for supported problems. - [CalcES Guide](https://mathda.com/calculator/guide): task articles — solving a quadratic, a system of equations, a function table — on the reader's own keypad model. - [CalcES Blog](https://mathda.com/calculator/blog): explanations of calculator results and school maths topics. ## Optional - [Date, time and age calculators](https://mathda.com/tools/date-calculator): everyday calculators in 43 languages. - [Unit converter](https://mathda.com/convert): conversions between units. - [CalcES documentation](https://mathda.com/docs/calculator-usages/calces/): reference for CalcES features. - [Function reference](https://mathda.com/docs/calculator-usages/symja/): one page per mathematical function. - [Calculator sitemap](https://mathda.com/calculator/sitemap.xml): every indexable calculator, graphing, guide and blog page in every language.
