Free Graphing Calculator Online

CalcES Graphing Calculator is a free browser tool made by MathDa for plotting and exploring graphs on phone and computer. No installation or account is needed. Enter several functions as y = f(x) to compare function graphs in different colors, whether you are checking pre-calculus homework or explaining a curve to a class.

Graph conic sections and inequality regions

CalcES plots implicit equations in x and y, including lines, circles, ellipses, parabolas and hyperbolas. Enter an inequality to shade its solution region. Parametric curves and polar curves give you other ways to describe a path.

Tap a curve to see roots and intersections, axis crossings, maxima and minima. With a mouse, press and drag to trace a curve and read coordinates; labels stay on screen so you can compare points.

Explore sliders, data and calculus

CalcES turns a constant on its own line, such as a = 1, into a slider. Move or animate it to see how a parameter changes the graph.

Use tables of points and computed columns for scatter plots and regression fits, including a line of best fit. A box plot, histogram or dot plot helps show how observations are spread. For supported functions, graph derivatives, including the nth derivative, and antiderivatives; evaluate definite integrals, sums and products.

Send a calculation to the graph and share it

The CalcES scientific calculator sends a function, table or calculus result to the graph through its Graph button. Both tools use a shared angle unit, so check degrees or radians before comparing trigonometric results.

Export a PNG image for a worksheet or CSV values for further work. Share a graph by link, or import a saved graph to revisit it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I graph a circle without rearranging the equation?

Yes. CalcES Graphing Calculator accepts implicit equations in x and y, including circles and other conic sections.

Can I shade the solution region of an inequality?

Yes. Inequalities in x and y appear as shaded regions in CalcES Graphing Calculator.

How do I change or animate a graph with a slider?

In CalcES Graphing Calculator, enter a constant on its own line to create a slider. Move the slider or use its animation to change the parameter and watch the graph respond.

Can I fit a regression curve to my data?

Yes. CalcES tables of points support scatter plots and regression fits, with computed columns for working from your data.

How do I send a calculator result to the graph?

Press the Graph button on a function, table or calculus result in CalcES's scientific calculator. Both tools share one angle unit, so check degrees or radians.
