Repeated Decimal in CalcES
A repeated decimal, also known as a recurring decimal or a periodic decimal, is a decimal representation of a rational number where one or more digits repeat infinitely.
For example, in the decimal representation of 31, which is 0.33333..., the digit ‘3’ repeats infinitely. Similarly, 72 is represented as 0.285714285714..., where the sequence ‘285714’ repeats indefinitely.
