StringTrim

StringTrim(s)

returns a version of s with whitespace removed from start and end.

StringTrim(s, patt)

returns a version of s with strings matching patt removed from start and end.

Examples

>> StringJoin("a", StringTrim(" \\tb\\n "), "c")
abc

>> StringTrim("ababaxababyaabab", RegularExpression("(ab)+"))
axababya
